I'm starting to get the feeling that the new Kim is even worse than the old nut job.:-?

Of all the charges including a disasterous financial policy, having an operation in a foreign country, drinking, distributing porn among his friends, gambling and dreaming different dreams, the most heineous has to be "clapping half-heartedly in meetings"! Christ, how far would I get in his government with my tendency to nod off during corporate roadshows? :o

Quite surprised this has made headline news, if I'm honest, this is the DPRK, it's Stalinist Russia on steroids, purges are hardly uncommon, admittedly this chap is a pretty high profile casualty, but this is, to be honest, pretty standard procedure for a North Korean leader who is cementing his powerbase, we had all the sabre rattling earlier this year to 'prove' his strength against the American and South Korean imperialists, and now he's cleaning house internally.

Business as usual in Pyongyang.

The one does what he is, the other got what he was. Xmas is a family thing even in North Korea, it seems.

Jimbuna 12-13-13 12:58 PM

Business as usual then.

eddie 12-13-13 02:09 PM

Might be the first of many executions over there.

I should imagine anyone sitting around the dinner table with him on xmas day will have a sudden loss of appetite.

Skybird 12-13-13 03:56 PM

But they won't let it show, but praise the cook - enthusiastically...! :D
