One show, London's O2 Arena, 1 July 2014.

Tickets on sale next Monday.

Grant, are you in the UK then? :hmmm:

I believe I will be but need to check on our itinerary. We're also meant to be visiting Italy and Ireland during the trip so not sure where I'll be on that date without checking.

I've not been but the wife has and she says Capri and Amalfi in particular are beautiful places to visit.

Aye looking forward to it. Just working out how I can get back to London for the Python show then join the family back in Italia.:hmmm:

It's a long walk and an even longer swim so I'd suggest flying.

Telll her it's a once in a lifetime opportunity - Rome, Pompei, et al are historic sites that will be there for years before and after, 5/6 Pythons on stages is history in the making. And you'll always have Paris, and you'll make it up to her, and those dates are a public holiday* in Italy - everywhere will be closed, from cafes to the colosseum (which is nice apart from the migrant 'workers' hawking all the same crappy toys right outside). So you'll have to kip in a tent and wee in a bucket.

London on those days though will be thriving, vibrant, funny, and all the better for a visit from our antipodean cousins. :D

* I may have just made that bit up.

Dunno if that'll do the trick.

Well it did for me after the 2008 Meet and you spent an extra few days in SF :O:

Herr-Berbunch 11-25-13 05:41 AM

More dates added for the following days. :woot:

Edit: It's now on up until the 5th. I've got a ticket for that final show. Final shows are always the best.

Jimbuna 11-26-13 06:32 AM

The first day was sold out within 43.5 seconds of tickets going on sale :o

Herr-Berbunch 11-26-13 08:46 AM

I always think they make that number up to make it sound good. I forgot to log on at 10 am - it was 10:17 when I remembered and still only the first two dates were listed and I was queueing for tickets. Then at about 11 the rest of the dates appeared, 11:45 I finally got my ticket. If they'd really all gone (for one date) in less than 44 seconds then there is no way I'd have got one nearly two hours later.

20,000 tickets in < 44 s
100,000 tickets in ~ 220 s

Just looked on stubhub and the cheapest ticket is about £200 - most expensive now going for £4k (I've checked my seat - going for about 3x face value - but I'm not selling). :o

Quite possible but that is what Real Radio was reporting.
