Sad to see that this man of history has finally passed on. Back in 2010 or so I wrote him, but at that point (from my understanding) he was so ill that he couldn't write back very well, so I received autographs even though I didn't ask for them. I am trying to find an English translation to his memoir. Anyone have any idea where to start?

There is currently no english version of it.

Next month (October) a english version will be published.

Ok thanks, I will have to look out for that. I just bought a German version. Got it off the German amazon for 30 dollars cheaper.
I guess I have more incentive to improve my understanding of the German language now.
