I thought that would be the case :03:

Don't mean to derail but the fight between Miandad and Lillee is a classic :)

The best thing is that they are an actual political party. Just no candidate for my electorate. I disagree with a few of their policies but at least they are fun. Given the way my seat votes it makes no difference who I vote for. The same party has held the seat since Federation in 1900 even with electoral boundary changes etc as the areas population has grown.

Very similar in my constituency.

In case you might be interested in how your elections are viewed in the press here in the US, here is a story published by the Los Angeles Times, a very high profile newspaper in the US media:

Title - "Gaffe-prone conservative Tony Abbott likely next Australian leader "

http://www.latimes.com/world/worldno...,1851884.story

...and I thought there was no one to carry on the Dubbya-esque torch...

Oh yes we know our politicians are rubbish. But then none who desire to lead deserve the right.

I'm in line at the polling booth now with my middle daughter who is voting for the first time. I reckon I might just draw a dick and balls on my ballot paper and be done with it.

Be careful: it might just be elected into office...

No difference to what we've got.
