I cycle past the Chieftain on my way to work every day. I've spent a fair amount of time in museums this summer but never thought to take a camera to work! I've always been interested in aircraft - as a teenager I used to volunteer for restoration work at Cosford and I was lucky enough to get my pilots licence when I was 17. Unfortunately flying became far too expensive so it's now lapsed, but I still love seeing the aircraft and WW2 aircraft still remain the most iconic for me. Since buying SH3 I've turned into a warship geek (mostly thanks to Subsim!) but aircraft remain my first love. WB |

A little ironic how they have a P51 hanging right behind the BF-109. At least to me it is.

Last of the pics. There was an awesome collection of scale models from the earliest attempts at flight to the latest aircraft (up to the F-22 and F-35). Tempting though it was to photograph them all, I decided to stick to two GWX favourites then those in my new mod (shameless plug here ):

That would be worth the trip :hmmm:

It was called the D.VII, not the Dr.VII. The Dr. designation was for triplanes only. |
Oooh, is that a Pup in the WWI replicas?
