I've seen them all IIRC and the last one (2002) was the one I enjoyed the most.

A guy I used to work with left the mob to be a military advisor on the 2002 one. Can't see his name in the credits for crew though. :hmmm:

I would agree. It is a good story and 2002 version was enjoyable. But the 1939 one was the one I liked.

I have not seen the 1929 version but would love to. I understand there are some silent versions too. I don't know if they are in existence any more.
