That's because half the time I can't tell myself. Of course not all jokes work as well as they should. That was one of them. It is, however, countered by myself. I'm the best joke I know. :dead:

I'll own up to no 7.

A great many years ago there was a joke going around: "What time is it when the clock strikes thirteen? Time to get the clock fixed!"

Unfortunately for the girl who sprang it on me, I replied "One in the afternoon." She looked at me for a bit and said "Huh?" I said "Thirteen hundred hours. One in the afternoon." She looked at me for a bit more and said "Huh?"

It took a bit of explaining before she even began to understand.

No, just someone who had never heard of military time.

That was hilarious. I didn't grow up as a military brat, but damn if alot of those points didn't sound familiar.! :haha:

I'm not either...but had the same reaction.

I'm the only one I know within 5 years of my age who uses a 24 hour clock. :har:

Let's not pick on Steve.

Honestly, grammar nazism doesn't get much of a reaction or change out of me except perhaps a disdain, or something bordering on a scornful remark if i bother to acknowledge the grammar nazi response at all. Generally speaking, the Grammar nazi is a highly presumptuous individual.
