Top right? Carl Sagan. Bottom right is Charles Darwin.

No, I knew those two. I meant the far right, and it's been answered. It appears to be a "snookie".

As for Paula Deen, I can't say I really care. Alton Brown was the only one I watched on Food Network.

Here's a variant of the same I just stumbled on.

Proud to say I know all the people on this one. At least the ones on the left.

I got 6 out of 10 and everyone knows who Snookie is, although I find her disgusting. I couldn't remember the ex muslim females name, although I've seen her on TV and watched her on youtube several times. I think she's sexy.

I'm a big fan of Hitchens, although don't agree with him on everything, but he's such a great debater regarding religion and politics.

Yeah, I just now figured that out. I didn't know either. Or care.

I've never seen Food Network, and don't know either one of them.

*Ahem*
I know the name. I wouldn't recognize her.
(And, I don't know the one on the right in the other pic, either.)

Ah. I am aware of him, but I didn't recognize him.

Alton Brown was the host of "Good Eats". It was the geekiest cooking show I've ever seen. Other shows tell you what to do. Brown would tell you what to do, but he would also explain the science of why you are doing things.

They need to make one that shows photos of bad(any) politicians and it should say:

"If you are one of these people or you voted for them congratulations you're what's wrong with the world."

This ordeal for Deen is simply stupid. Apology for very old verbal indiscretions. She gets fired. There are plenty star athletes that have done far far far far worse than this but continue to make millions playing a professional sport. Simply amazing the mentality of the country and PC.

cooking people taken offline for saying bad words? I hope Gordon Ramsay isn't next, love his show (I love watching him scream at bad chefs.

also, I'm sure she has used the n word a few times in her life, come on, she was born before the civil rights movement.

I don't mean to be rude (really I don't) but I really didn't want to know. If I cared at all I would watch the channel. :O:

Very old indiscretions?
The hearing was last month over her employee suing for racial and sexual harassment.
Her problem stems from her attempts to defend her brother at the hearing.
What is simply amazing is the mentality of her and her brother.

Simple lesson. There is no law against people being dumb racists.
But there is a law about calling people ******s at work, which is especially relevant if you are the boss.

Wolferz 06-22-13 08:38 AM

All this hubbub over a silly slang term for people of color. One they use profusely in daily conversation and have Africanized even further with the abbreviation ..."Nigga"
Paula Deen and her brother are what we refer to as Whisky Tangos. White Trash.
The real reason for Ms Deen's fall from grace has nothing to do with her word choices.
It seems she committed a conflict of interest by endorsing a new drug for diabetes. A disease she was recently diagnosed as having. Her Food Network show is all about southern comfort foods. Loads of sugar. :timeout:

Regarding Steve's pictures. The first one on the right is the dreaded Muff Cabbage. The injurer of our fellow sailor, Wernher Von Trapp.:-?

You should be ashamed for including Kimye in this thread.:hmmm:
"Kanye, let's name our little baby girl North."

I guess it's better than "Blanket":hmmm:
