For this - you would place an Italian airfield ontop of the German one.

This is clear

Or you could make a new airfield that lists the German and Italian planes you want.

German and Italian planes? :06:

This contradicts what I have (mis)understood from your previous explainations. Let's make an example:

I want a British airfield to spawn both British and American P-51 Mustang (same unit, different nationality and skins). Is it possible? And if yes, where do I set aircraft nationality.

Going by what I have understood so far, your answer should be "no, a British airfield can only deploy British planes", but again, your second statement seems to contradict the previous sentence :hmmm:

The airfield belongs to whatever roster file nationality it was taken from.
This airfield will spawn planes to attack enemies that enter its range. The enemies are set by the defside.cfg

To add nations (a) planes to nations (b) airfields can be done by adding that unit (using class name) to the data/land/**airfield**.cfg

This would be bad only if nation a and b went to war:arrgh!::D
Or if you or others forgot that airfield a+b used planes from a and b:O:

The the best way would be to use two airfields or use a name for the new airfield that will always remind you that it has two nations aeroplanes within:up:

So, an airfield which, from date1 to date2, has the "A type" aircraft assigned in its **airfield**.cfg, will use "A type" planes of ALL the nations having the same type of unit in their roster during the same set of dates? Is this correct, at last? :88) :O:
