How many rpm should have this MAN diesel? His losing 75 to 80% of speed when rudder is in max inclination.

I think you have the foward turrets messed up. The little turret comes first and the large turret goes in front.

This is very rare and specific layout. As far only one note about armament was found by me on Wikipedia: " The fore 28 cm turret would have been
superfiring over the fore 15 cm turret; the
layout was reversed for the aft pair of
turrets." so as you can see gun layout is good, but thanks to You I found that the stern is wrong, it should be the so called " Transom stern".

So... I'm getting back to work.

Those Germans are strange, if they cared anything about looks they would put the little turrets behind the big ones. I don't want to burden you but is it possible to make a seperate mod where the big turrets are out in front. That is the lay out I saw in a blueprint on google and it looks alot less awkward.

Well, this is "The Design", for different fore armament configuration, you need wider ship (in this fore section), and if this section is wider you need longer hull, (to deal whit all those hydrodynamics effects that I don't fully understand) or you will have lower max speed. This ship was design as diesel powered and very fast ship, so if I want keep close to reality I can't change fore armament placements.

P.S.

Hull is reworked, so basically, ship is ready :) only tweaking and cleaning files.

If you have a boat you'll be ready for them to do spec How have you found the painting is more historical?

and whether it will create a submarine such as type XVII, XXX, VIIC/43

It's a great looking mod so far. It has been along time since chinese U-47 released his warship mod. So this will be the first one in a while.

Exactly 18692 faces and 18667 vertices. Or 16090 faces and 15705 vertices. second number is from version without "polishing" on hull. Doors, portholes are standalone objects, as well as anchoress (anchoress are destructible). I forgot, shafts also are not included. Zones are ready, now textures and visual damage. And no CTD now.

Anybody knows how to make fire and smoke vanish as DC team gains control over the situation?

In Chinese U-47's surface ship mod, the Scharnhorst can have the top or "cap" of its funnel blown off as a damage effect. I don't recomend this because the inside of the funnel doesn't seem to render properly.

I went and checked wikipedia and I think they have the p-class wrong. They say that the 11 inch turrets fire over the 5 inch turrets but they are wrong. If you go on any other website with the p class cruiser they always show the 5 inch turrets behind the big turrets. Such a design with the larger turrets firing over the small ones is completely unethical. If you go on google images you will see that all results show the big turrets out in front. You can't always believe wikipedia they seem to have a lot of mistakes regarding prototype ships or ones that never leave the drawing board.

You may lose funnel cap, but funnel model is sealed from top, so no render problem, and most of textures are two sided. In that moment sip lose exhaust smoke when she lose funnel.
