Capt. Goose.

I'm glad you found Dr. Steve and he is answering questions, now will you please answer mine.

Do I need to repeat them?

Never mind, I found this in the fax from Dr. Steve.

When you return from scuba diving, please answer the following questions that have been requested by the court.
What makes you think I'm ever coming back? Especially now?

Quote:
Regarding the charges that were filed by Dr. Steve O.L.D {or his office} against LTJG Williams / Article 89—Disrespect toward a superior commissioned officer based on statements made to Dr. Steve by LTJG Williams.
The devil made me do it!

Quote:
1) Did you file charges against LTJG Williams or were said charges filed by a member of your office?
No.

Quote:
2) If you filed charges, do you plan to prosecute as well? If so, will you use spell checking?
No!

Quote:
3) Where is LTJG Williams being held?
A thousand times no!

I mean, I don't know.

I mean, never heard of 'im.

Quote:
4) What is your finding pertaining to LTJG Williams mental competency relating to combat fitness?
He's mad as a hatter! A little light in the loafers too, if you ask me.

Wait, that's Armistead. Or was that Armistead's assessment of me?

5) Is LTJG Williams competent to stand trial for the second offense by Dr. Steve O.L.D?
Boy, if I ever meet this Williams guy I'm gonna give him a piece of my mind!

Maybe I should take a piece of his instead.

Good day sir.
Easy for you to say. You're not the one being badgered by some court git.

Okay this was fun at first...

I think we took it too far this time.

Sailor Steve 04-09-13 07:53 PM

I think you took it far too seriously right from the start. If you want to see the way a trial at Subsim should be conducted, read here:
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=147720

Second, dragging into GT and trying to keep it serious was a bad move.

Red October1984 04-09-13 08:05 PM

These trials got me thinking...

With all this talk of the "Subsim Navy" when we don't even have a Subsim Navy....

Why don't we start our own little Navy? :hmmm:

It is the finding of this court, that if anyone took this court serious, that person is found incompetent.

It is the finding of this court that Dr. Steve did indeed file charges against LTJG Williams while under the influence of the devil

"The devil made me do it!"

However, the question arises, did Dr. Steve, without influence file said charges. I submit the following

"1) Did you file charges against LTJG Williams or were said charges filed by a member of your office?

"No."

He clearly did not!

It is clear to this court that Dr. Steve did and did not file charges.

Now comes the question of LTJG Williams mental competency. It is clear that Dr. Steve found him incompetent, stating

"He's mad as a hatter! A little light in the loafers too, if you ask me."

However, this court cannot determine at this time at what stage LTJG Williams was, is or became incompetent regarding charges past and current, both, neither, vice versa.

A bigger concern of this court now is the competency of Dr. Steve OLD to properly judge the competency of LTJG Williams.

It is the decision of this court to place Dr. Steve in custody and have him delivered to Subsim Psychiatric Hospital to be placed under the care of Dr. Steve OLD.

This court finally concludes that this process is incompetent, dismisses all charges against LTJG Williams and he is free to go and play the game in peace.........knowing further lying about his patrols will only result in more charges.

Does this mean that I get the Grenadier back?

Does this mean that Williams is back in command?! :D

Are you able to determine when and if other people take things too seriously?

It looks pretty serious to me. If I'm wrong, fine. On the other hand, I stayed out of the whole thing. I wish you had had the courtesy to leave it that way. If I'd wanted to be involved I would have.

Father Goose 04-10-13 12:08 AM

Excuse me, Lt. Goose...oh, that's right, I don't have to do this anymore.

I think some may have forgotten or never knew how all of this insanity started. Red "really getting into SH4" with realism in his patrol report. Armistead and I were just having fun with him with his imagination and wanting realism outside the sim.

Having never really interacted with the members, I realized I was best as the "straight man" and let Armistead and Sailor Steve handle the humor. I thought some of their dialogues were hilarious. Well done guys! :yeah:

If I have any feedback it would be, Red seemed to take losing his command so seriously. At one point I thought he felt Armistead was going to arrive at his house and uninstall the sim. Relax Red, you can't lose command of the Grenadier...because you never had it!!! :har:

The other feedback was we spent way too much time at The Subsim Psychiatric Hospital. And my gosh, Dr. Steve or should I say Groucho, just answer the questions and let us get out of there and back to court. If I had to walk back to that hospital one more time I was going to scream. I don't have any shoe leather left. :har:

Anyway, I for one am glad that stressful event is over and will be returning to my very quiet Matalava Island for rest and relaxation.

Oh, and one final...Good day sir! :salute:
