 DosBox is working out much better than Defend Reloaded, which
uses DosBox too. Defend wont run some software if it's a Windows executable, but DosBox doesn't seem to mind! I might see if I can run Command Aces of the Deep under it too! :yep:

Thanks!

That's good. I've heard some bad reviews of Defend Reloaded.

DOSBox seems to have positive reviews all around and it works for most DOS Games out there. I've got a few DOS games. I'm not too serious into DOS gaming. I'll play them every once in a while...but not regularly. I like pretty colors and 3D graphics. I also like good sound....etc...

DOS can be fun to mess around with sometimes.

I couldn't get CAOD to run but I did get Silent Service 2 to run okay! I have to try it again and see if the digitized speech still works! My manual for SS2 is on the bookcase so I tried to guess the ship for the copy protection and failed! I did get a kick out of taking out the small convoy in the training session! :D

Silent Service possibly?

Thanks, Red October!

Silent Service 2 is the one that I can't seem to get to run. Maybe the version I have is corrupt. I don't know. I'll take a look at it tomorrow. :hmmm:

Did you use the batch file to start SS2? :hmmm: That's how I got it working! If yours is still broke then PM me!

No...I must have a corrupted version. The installer won't run and neither will the application.
