Look at the few posts before this one which contains other useful information. At the moment, I am not sure. Are you a new player and not familiar with JSGME (Jones generic mod enabler)? Did you install the latest JSGME version as suggested and did it fix your problems?

Here is my JSGME.ini file;
[MODS FOLDER]
Name=MODS
[FORM SIZE]
Main Height=528
Main Left=50
Main Top=50
Main Width=676
Main WindowState=1
[JSGME DETAILS]
FullPath=R:\SilentHunterIII\JSGME.exe

Does your JSGME.ini file look familar to mine at all? Some numbers and the full path are probably different. What operating system do you use? Right-click the JSGME.ini file and scroll to the properties option. The attributes read only and hidden SHOULD NOT be checked.

There is nothing wrong with installing anything on the F-drive. It's just very unusual to find a Program Files (x86) folder on a different drive than C. Since it is made on the drive that Windows is installed on. The Windows drive could get a different drive letter, depending on the kind of partition/volume it is on. So, it is possible, but also reason enough to inquire about why it deviates from default.

Jones Generic mod enabler (JSGME) creates *yourfilename save.mep extensions. What kind of operating system, Pisces? For Win 7 - C:\Users\your login name\Documents; XP - C:\Documents and Settings\your login name\Documents.
Windows 7 x64. It appears that I also still had an older version of JSGME installed. This didn't have the latest .mep functionality.

I would suggest to use http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...o=file&id=3559 instead of http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...o=file&id=3900 for all concerned. Same version but has the user's guide included in pdf form, too.
But this .7z file is not the true JSGME installer. It is a set of files and folder that someone installed on his own system and took a copy of it (unless, this is an quick-and-dirty release from JScones.) Forgive me for not trusting a .exe that has a User Account Control shield in it's icon. (Which JSGME didn't have sofar on my system) Maybe it is legit. And my virusscanner said nothing bad about it. But it is somewhat dirty.

Please get the latest true and clean JSGME installer uploaded to subsim download section.

Sent you a PM. Latest JSGME in a compressed file was always there as the first file listed before yesterday in the utilities section. http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...=3951&act=down
Sorry it it not a true JSGME installer. You should have no problems using it if you read the enclosed user's guide and the JSGMEHelp.txt.

Update just now as I recheck facts: Just reopened up utility page: Installer back up. Thanks Sailor Steve. User's guide is a separate download.

Fortunately, the mod enabler is working on my new install. I moved the game away from 'program files x86' as advised and the problem was corrected.

Thanks for the help and advice.
