Loved playing with matchbox cars now I just play real racing 2 on my phone (I also played burnout:takedown on a friend's PS2). |
Vans with murals was very popular in the 70's!

Here is a great conversion.
http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...nnnnnnnnn1.jpg This is one I saw in a magazine back in '71 or so, and always wanted a picture of. The guy removed the back section from an early '60s Ford van, and welded another front in its place. I loved it because I had one of those, the first 'car' I ever owned. http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...nAug197316.jpg This guy took the idea a step further. http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...Picture014.jpg And somebody else did the same with the 'pickup' variant Ford made for a couple of years. http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...ebTwoFaced.jpg |
A friend of mine had the Dodge van. He called it Frankenvan. :haha: We can see why!

Those older vans from the 60's and early 70's are getting very rare nowadays even in more original form.
I know guy that owns a 63 Convair truck it looks pretty cool a bit like like this one. It has some small block(not sure what size off the top of my head) it is as well not a stock engine: http://i1162.photobucket.com/albums/...psdc4f125c.jpg Here is a sweet conversion van check out the interior. http://hooniverse.com/2011/04/10/hoo...stom-maxi-van/ |
The van pictured has a curling bar as a bumper. :haha: Sheesh....
