OK. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to water my computer. It's shriveling again.

Would that not make today 49 years 1 month 8 days? :D

People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but *actually* from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint - it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly... time-y wimey... stuff.

It just so happens that in my regular rotation I'll be watching 'Blink' tomorrow.

One of my all-time favorites!

It's the second-greatest Doctor Who story according to the latest survey!

So his first name is "the"? Should not the 'T' be uppercase?

Here's to David Tennant; Best. Doctor. Ever. And Billie Piper as Best Companion.

Personally, my favourite Doctors are William Hartnell/Richard Hundall, Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGan, Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant and Matt Smith.

I've seen it. Liked a few things, dislike others. Putting the name of the show in the dialogue one or two times is fine. Making and habit it's a bit annoying and dumb.
And they had to put the face of the actor again in the intro...:-?

It aired in Canada last week. The Space Channel had their annual Doctor Who marathon, all of 2012's episodes ending with the conclusion of the Amy-Rory story arc and followed up by the Christmas episode.

Hope Alex Kingston is not gone for good.

I like to paraphrase the legendary American comedian Will Rogers, who said "I never met a man I didn't like".

My version is "I never watched a Doctor I didn't like".

[edit] Here's an interesting take on the current Doctor. I will add that I was ready to dislike Matt Smith based solely on his looks, but I've fallen in love with his performance and Steven Moffat's writing. They make The Doctor all he should be. Given the brilliant versions delivered by the previous two, that's saying a lot.
