Lighting was a major PITA, but got more good shots than fuzzy ones so I'm relatively happy.

Yes. Either we were on the same side or he's a POW being used as an assistant medic. Common practise on both sides from what I've read. Not so much on the Eastern Front though.:hmmm:

That bridge structure has always fascinated me...I can't recall seeing anything like that anywhere else.

Cybermat47 12-31-12 04:58 PM

What part is the Bf110 at!? I haven't seen it before! Looks like it was a plane of an ace though! I'll look him up...

Cybermat47 12-31-12 05:07 PM

Showed my Dad those pics. He says you're a pretty good cameraman :sunny:

Did you see that Sydney Nazi Party flag? Bloody Nutters :nope:

Cybermat47 12-31-12 05:11 PM

Found out who flew that Bf110! It's Major Heinz-Wolfgang Schnaufer - the greatest night fighter ace of all time with 121 kills!

Nor I. Its integrated into the museum below and you can walk into the bridge (There's even a lift for wheelchairs) from the Post WWII halls.

Say thanks to your dad from me. Yes I did and they were. That's why they were interned during the war.
