It's not about winning, or losing, or a draw. The insult thread is for trading insults. That means being creative, not vindictive or petty. This thread is about something else. I may be mistaken about what, exactly, but it certainly wasn't meant to be a carbon copy of the other one.

As for a truce, you can only call a truce if you have a fight. Joking is fine, and insults are fun, but it should never be a fight. I don't like getting personal, and I'm not the one who made it that way, nor did I want to, which if you read that thread again you'll see that early on all my comments were aimed at no one in particular. The proper insult is an art form. Cutting people down just to do it is no art at all, just spite. That's a difference some people still have to learn.

I'm most happy when I'm insulting myself.

My problem is that I take things too seriously. I've been told that dozens of times.
