Cool thread!

I saw 'the intercepter' posted in a thread the other day and now i've just gotta watch it again :).

I think the sequels pailed compared to the first though.

I would agree. It was a clever idea simply run into the ground.

First one was very good the second one good, things went South after that though. Got some hopes for Fury Road but not very high ones.

If you are into '70's bikes try and get hold of STONE You'll recognise a few of the bikers from MM 1.

The group was on the way out. There are many reason stated but we will never really know for sure. Does anyone think McCartney would throw Oko under the bus? I don't. Specifically after the death threats directed at John. One of the threats followed through.

Even Paul is on record as saying it wasn't Yoko's fault. It had to do with individual ideas and business and musical disagreements. John wasn't the only one who tried to quit before the final breakup came. Yoko was just a symptom.

I notice that in Aussie films made in those days that the outcasts are Vietnam Vets just as in American flicks from the same time period or at least in "Stone"
they are vets this one does not seem too insulting and some guys do have troubles as a civilian.

The one guy looks like Toecutter. I also recognized the jeans @ 2:24 Levis:doh: .

Read post #22. On record, yes. It is a sugar coated response IMO. After all that was said and I believe Paul "let it go" as it were.

Well, I only brought it up here to illustrate the problems of genius, but since you want to get into it, I suggest you see what they said themselves.

You seem to see what we all saw at the time, but the fact is they broke up because they couldn't live with each other anymore. As I said, Yoko was just a symptom, something everybody on the outside could blame.

Ok, they could not live with each other and any outside factors(significant others) did not play a part?

Yoko was a factor IMO. But again, does anyone believe after all that was said and done, one life taken on a NY city street, that bashing of each other would take place? I don't.

"Let it be" :)
