Capt. Morgan....aah yes, memories :smug:

Should be a good read Jeff, I know you've always had an interest in the Cyclops since before we put her in GWX.
Tell Nancy we met up and ran up that bar bill together. You still got the vid of the night we had in that Houston bar? Best not post it or Grant might get a little upset :har: I'll post a picture instead....wonder what he was saying to me at the time it was taken :smug: http://imageshack.us/a/img259/6337/img0498w.jpg |
Got the book today. Well it was at home yesterday but I was in Wisconson then.
I got home today and both the book and my new NoteBook were here. I opened the book first! This thing is a MONSTER!! Just pageing through it was an eye opening event! The pictures and plans alone sent shivers down my spine. The few pages I did read tell me I got exactly what I paid for. Not the BS Triangle stuff that the Cyclops is forever linked to. But a story of a real ship as best as can be told today from records. |

Cyclops coaling the Texas! :o Haveing visited the Texas twice now, that picture was a surprise treat! The down side of the Book. I HAVE to re-do the AC-4 in GWX. A proper Cyclops is needed. |

Twas a day (and nite) I'll never forget!
:yep: Where I mostly hate the Big cities I travel to? That day changed my outlook on Houston. I love kickin' it down there now. |
Ah, but that brings up the age-old question - was it the town itself, or the company? :sunny:
