It depends, darker is definitely more realistic and yes flags are harder to identify. The thing that still needs adjusting is when the moon comes out. When the moon comes out at various sizes, the 'Darker night' should be adjusted somehow. When I have a full Moon it seems like the Darkness is still trying to overpower (not the right word) the moons light. Anyway, the "darkness" seems very realistic indeed. I am wondering how much light an actual full moon would have bouncing off the water ect... Would we still have as much trouble identifying objects with the moonlight reflecting everywhere?!:hmmm: Great Mod! D40 |

Moon phase should certainly have an affect on the darkness of nights during clear skies. |

Awesome Idea
I tried your mod and will say . that I cannot see clearly at night and do have to turn off the room lights. Adding your MOD, simply not good for me. I would caution all to personalize your game. I have great respect for Sober mods and his work effort is awesome -- this one is not for me :Kaleun_Salute:

Hi CAJ
sober was always experimenting with his mods as they were an overall part of his mega mod. He might have to tweak a mod to work with another. You can see this with this mod as it is version 6. If you take his best ever fog mod you are looking at version 31. So while it might not work for you in your game it may well have worked in his mega mod with the other 100 mods in it. Peter |
