Good stuff Jim. You have every right to be proud.

We get a lot of cruise ships here. Massdam was just here on Tuesday. According to schedule, Ms Eurodam arrives here, Charlottetown, Canada on Sept.20. Will try to get some photos and post them.:salute:

I believe his next leave commences first or second week in August so it's possible he'll be joining her somewhere in that area.

Your all so very kind, I only wish the ships internet allowed access to SubSim but sadly that's not the case.

Jim,

Great to see your son doing well in his chosen career. If he's anything like his father, then he'll definitely have the drive to take it as far as he wants.

Good to hear he's looking after his mum and dad as well. I'm sure you'll all have a great reunion.

I can only echo Jamie's words and say you've done a great job in bringing up a fine young man.

23 and waiting on a Second Officer slot....

Now that tells you something about the lad! Pride well placed, and kudo's to him!

How could I ever forget the 'forgetful one' :DL

Rang me at work twice today...first to inform me her car tax was due today then later on to say she was locked out of the house and would have to wait nearly two hours before her mam was due home

Typical blonde :O:

Herr-Berbunch 06-01-12 03:24 PM

I think we've all done both of those  just not at the same time.

She's only young, she'll learn. What you don't get is James mislaying his cabin key and then phoning you. And iirc either he hasn't picked his car up yet, or if he has it'll not need taxing for a while and then you'll have all the documents to tax it for him when the time comes. :yep:

I'm not sure if your hiding across the street from my place of abode but I taxed his car at the beginning of May (Fiat Punto Sport), it is currently on a neighbours drive two houses away and requires an MOT and insurance renewal on 12th. The exhaust has a big hole in it and he has asked me not to spend too much on getting it through the MOT because he wants to trade it in towards an Audi TT Quattro on his return home.

I predict the next trip away he does, there could well be a black Focus on his drive and an Audi on mine :03:

:o That name's not a million miles away either!

Nope, not stalking you. But I did take it as a challenge to locate Steve from his pics the other day. Think I found it. :D

Jimbuna 06-01-12 06:07 PM
