One of the few remakes I enjoyed was Peter Jackson's King Kong in 2005. That's mostly because the 1976 remake was such a travesty. How Jeff Bridges' career recovered I'll never know.

For me Jeff made his comeback from King Kong with The Big Lebowski. He made Dudes look cool. :D
You can't replace Arnold for another muscle bound actor it wouldn't work imo and Arnold is too old for the remake. At least it ain't Tom Cruise. |
