Hi lesec74,

Which program are you using to unzip? I remember having identical problems with TDWs UI mods unless I used 7-Zip.

Regards, Sam.

Hi, I am having this problem

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...&postcount=105

Clean install + MMM 0.4 AIO + No magic Skills v1.5 MMM0.4 compatible

I observed also that the ruler and compass tools have this problem. The protractor is fine.

thanks!

EDIT: SOLVED BY ADDING EQUATOOLS LARGE STYLE OVER THE ABOVE

Hi lesec74,

:hmmm:. I no longer play SH5 but I downloaded the mod to see what I can see.

So it seems that part 1 will not unzip using 7-zip on my system (other parts work fine), but all parts unzip with winrar 4.11 - link:

http://winrar.soft32.com/free-downlo...B6g&rel=center

Make sure you get the right version for your Windows (64-bit or 32-bit)

As the basemod folders in each part have the same name (MMM 0.4 Base Mod) this suggests to me that they should be merged.

Start with part 1 - copy the folder 'MMM 0.4 Base Mod' into your SH5install/MODS folder, then do the same for part 2 and click OK to merge the folders, then again for part 3, part 4 and part 5. Don't worry about overwriting files (as you keep original copies)

Then you can enable the single 'MMM 0.4 Base Mod' in JSGME

Hope it helps,

Regards, Sam.

@Pedrobas - Excellent work chap. I am severely tempted to reinstall SH5. Which program did you use to zip your files up before uploading to Mediafire?

lesec74 03-09-12 08:49 AM

The 5 parts are not meant to be merged. You only need to extract the first part, and the other 4 parts belonging to the pack will extract automatically.

When the extraction is finished you will have a folder MMM v0.4 AIO with 8.740 files and sized 2.061.935.142 bytes.

:DL nonpollolike is half correct. When winrar unpacks the 5 parts in sequence it merges all identical folders automatically.

Sounds like a corrupted download, as I just tried to unpack all and it all worked no problem. Maybe try re-downloading just part 2? other than that I can't help further as I cannot reproduce the error.

It would be helpful to know exactly which compression program was used to avoid conflicts with different softwares. 7-zip for example does not seem to recognize that the .rar files are sequential parts.

Regards, Sam.

It is one of the imported ships. Try to download again the mod, and use winrar to unzip it, as Suggested by Sammi79.

That's exactly the problem I think he is experiencing. I bet he is using 7zip and trying to extract the 2nd part with it, hence that error message.

First of all, i use winrar for zip and unzip, never got problem with it.
If you want to use snorkel use via tdw ui options, donīt get the hinged snorkel from the beast. Donīt use RWR SCHNORCHEL MOUNTED, it doesnīt work. Use the "tunis" fix mounted.
About the messed screen, i answerd you in MMM thread, really the answer is in TDW new UIīs thread, a lot of people reported that, donīt edit TDWoption file by hand use the TDW viewer to change what you want, including snorkel.

Are you editing TDW options manually?

You have either installed the mod incorrectly, not patched to v1.2 of the game, or you edited the options file manually vice using the options editor/viewer app. It's one or a combination of those things :yep:
