The minority with twistable brains would end up hating us, which always seems to end up being a majority of anti-West sympathizers posing for the cameras. Anyone over there really trying to survive on peaceful terms with themselves probably couldn't care less one way or the other as long as their families don't end up at the point of a spear.

It's strange enough that no intervention has been staged to make me wonder at the wider picture of diplomacy in these matters. The powers are at odds over Syria, I think. :hmmm:

China and Russia blocked a UN resolution against Syria.

Like the UN means anything.:D

But just saying, it was a go ahead if the 2 most oppressive societies (human rights issues) with permanant UN chairs didn;t object.

Blood is cheap to these people, they got the populations to spare, and think all should act as them.

As for Russia, they earned thier place, China??? You would have been Japanese territory if not for us. Flying tigers mean nothing now. Our airmen flying "over the hump" to supply them...For what?

The knife in the back always follows the victory parade.

I will not conflict with you on this, it is simply a matter of perspective and who you see as the good guy and the bad guy.

I honestly think we are better to our citizens than the other 2 I mentioned. Just ask Tibet and Chechnya.

not saying we are right, but we are not complete heartless jackasses like you all paint us to be.

Good guy bad guy is so invariably interchangable as to be almost meaningless in that context. I put the perspective from the angle that it is the actions which are good or bad, not who it is that is doing them.

Is that a strawman you are attempting to build?

Is that a strawman you are attempting to build?

What strawman you want me to build, or what strawman are you implying me building?

I said Americans are not heartless, you call it a strawman?

I am confused, unless you are trying to troll me?

So Americans have a bloodlust that rivals Genghis Khan, or does our government?

You need to make a distinction between the two, we have been invaded by corporate interests, who get super wealthy from this stuff.
I lost something in our last military endeavor. A few somethings. I hate this crap, I wish Europe would pull its weight militarily.

Strawman? where? I think you are the one grasping for straws.

Its plain to see, indeed you just did it again.

That isn't what you said.

Try again, what were the words by you I quoted when mentioning you building a false arguement which you attributed to others?
Its all in the seven words after jackasses.

Here have a clue from your following post....

....neither, who said they did?

Who says I don't?
What did I specificly say about perpective?

Interesting. In what way should Europe pull its weight?
Should France invade Haiti more often, can Britain do Sierra Leone again or should Ireland get stuck into Lebanon as bit more?

As I said, probably just propaganda, when some people are at war they want to get support from other countries .
