Coincidentally, I once worked at a film production company with George's brother, Andrew. He sought out the job about the same time George was making a name for himself in the Clinton '92 campaign. Because some frothing at the mouth wingnut decided to make an idiot of himself and call it news, his version of it became a bigger story when he ranted even louder when he was told he was being an idiot and then snowballed when his advertising revenue came under threat as good old business interests don't like to be associated with complete idiots.
So in short the reason why the media is covering that angle of the story is because an idiot made it news.
Therefore if you want to complain about that part of the story being in the news blame that prat Rush.

Thats a scary story, some theocrat is propsing again that employers can withdraw healthcare for their workers based on thier own religious views, so if for example your company gets bought by a christian scientist your healthcare plan will in theory legally be able to be restricted to prayers of healing:doh:
