Nice. And now will you guys and girls please all step back into the line and repeat your praise a second time for me? :D When thinking of it, I see it is possible that my 20000th posting was made yesterday - which happened to have been my birthday.

And bring a second set of presents, too. :D

Congratulations, Sky. You are both a scholar and a gentleman. We agree some and disagree some. However, you always appear the epitome of an individual deserving of respect. I would hope, on my best day, to be a small fraction of what you are. Thank you for being a member of this community.

Unfortunately due to budget cuts we could only find one Leopard 2, so we'll get it to fire 21 shots!

Oh no, that could last... The ready-rack holds only 15 rounds, after which they must stop for 5 minutes to reload cartridges from the hull's stowaway. Maybe the politicians in the British MoD planned to cut the salute down to 15 shots anyway...

The British MOD would have four guys sitting in a wheelbarrow shouting BANG fifteen times :03:

And indeed, Happy Birthday, another one whose day falls on the dreaded 'Singles taunting day'.

The 20000 posts. Where has the time gone?

frau kaleun 02-15-12 07:37 PM

Mercilessly pressed, typed and hammered into the keyboard.

I indeed just learned in SBP that the Challenger 2 has a "decisively British" fire control system. :O:
