See you on the other side Firewall ...

I always liked it when people thought he was mad by typing in big bold letters, but then he explained that it was hard to see his post so he typed that way mad or not.

I was just looking through his old posts and come across this:

Example: You are very old and your body is wore out.
You are in alot of excruciating pain and the paim meds at the
Hospital\Nursing Home aren't working anymore.

You've outlived all your Old Friends and loved ones.
You might financially even become a burden on your children.

If you look at Death then, it's not so scary and in someways
even become a Friend. It will give you the Release from all the
above.

If this is well thought out it, could be the answer that was always
there but Fear was keeping it unexamined as an Option.

Talk to your Dr. And excludeing the Pain meds. You stop all other
treatments and over extending methods. (Hope i said that right)

Life Support in a Nurseing Home just, isn't, for me for the above
reasons and, I'm sure I could come up with a few more.

To sum it up there's alot more things to fear than Death.

I wish you all a Happy and FULL life.

RIP FIREWALL...rest easy, sir.

I am greatly saddened by the news of this loss. For us, Firewall was a man who brought color, life and comedy to these forums. For his loved ones, this was no doubt a mere fragment of who he was as a human being. Our's is but an echo of the pain felt by those close to him. We thank him for being who he was and having the goodness to share that with us. He is at peace now; his struggle with illness no longer weighs upon him.

We didn't always get along, but we had some fun times.

Believe it or not, FIREWALL, I'm going to miss you.

"Any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in Mankind; And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee."
-John Donne

Apropos, it was also Donne who said "No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent."

I have always an odd feeling when long-time posters suddenly stop writing, wonder what happened to them

Rest in piece, Firewall!
