edited or unedited logs? cfg (game) or html (SH3Cmdr)? |
The Commander Patrol logs as discussed in this thread.
Edited and the unedited copys. That way I can compare them. 4 or 5 from different people should be enuff. |
Privateer, would love to send you copies of my logs, and will when I can. I definitely appreciate your offer to look into a work around!
Unfortunately, I am without internet until after Wed January 4th. Yesterday, the neighborhood children (including my sons) decided to dig foxholes in my back yard along a fence. One of the knuckleheads dug into my fiber-optic broadband cable line and severed it. I lost my internet, cable TV and my home phone lines in one fell swoop... :-( Worst of all, I can watch NO FOOTBALL until it is fixed!!! Huge bowl games, and I am in a complete tech black-out. It being New Years Holiday, the Comcast Cable guys can't get out here until at least mid week, and that is IF they keep to their appointment. I will send ya some log files when I get back up and running and once again, thanks for your offer! Regards, Gum |
I've already written a program that searches for and then changes whatever I want in SWTOR files.
So it should be an easy adjustment to that code to work on the Patrol Logs. I thought about adjusting something in the Patrol Log program itself but JScones has a line in the License about messing with his programs so I'm not going to disrespect that. :salute: |
Send ya mine from the campaign i'm running now.
Do you just want the Patrol*.cfg file? Bootlegger267 |
I only want whatever SHCommander outputs that needs edited.
I don't play SH3 let alone use Commander. That's why I ask others to send me thier copies. |
Looking at what Steve sent me, I'll need the .cfg files.
|
Mine are on the way.

Meh!
I tried to use SH3Commander and the Patrol log thing but it's not working for me. Probably need to actually do a patrol or something instead of just saveing in base at the start of a new Career. Too busy working on the 12pdr to mess with it much right now, but isn't there some other file it saves to? |
It seems to be a long time since anyone posted here - but I didn't find any solution to the "bootmless page" problem reported by Bootlegger, which is the same I find myself.
Any clues on why buttons are not displayed in our Log Editors? THX HB |
Solved:
If anyone is having this issue with SH3 Commander, its a Windows setting issue, not with Commander. You have to change the text size to the default (100%) size in the control panel. Control Panel -> Appearance and Personification -> Display Hope it helps the few of us who weren't getting everything out of SH3 Commander. |
Woohoo! Now that's the way to bring back an old thread!
Thanks for working on that until you found an answer. :sunny: |
Brilliant Tupolev - brilliant! :salute:
It works like described. Sad to say I still can't use it. The default setting with my Win7 (1920x1080) is 125%. Switching down to 100% all displayed fonts turn fuzzy and I need a magnifying glass to read any text. I'll live with it... |
@Steve - I was really wanting to not necro, but this was bugging me so much I couldn't quite help it!
@Mittelwaechter - I'm running 1680x1050 so I don't have that particular problem. Two possible solutions, and I'm really just taking a stab at it... 1) Try a custom text size: Control Panel -> Appearance and Personification -> Display Its an option on the left of the window that says "Set custom text size (DPI)". Maybe setting 105% or 110% might work? 2) Fine tune the text: Just above the "Set custom text size" option should be "Adjust ClearType text". Running through that might clear up the text? Hope one of these helps you! T |
