McBeck, since you are there, start petitioning the city to change its name to Kim Jong, IL :D

I think we should take the keys to the Nautilus for one year.

So put me in the brig with a ton of spuds ;)

Good grief McBeck, in Chicago and not viewing U-505!!:dead: I am hoping to be there later this year, just so I can say I have been in one!!:yep:
It will be my one and only visit to the US probably.:hmmm:

I can't believe a Subsim fan would visit Chicago, for several days mind, without seeing the U-505! A once in a lifetime opportunity to walk the decks of an intact piece of Submarine History passed up to,....! take it easy and flow? :o

I suspect a woman was involved... :hmmm:

:DL

+1:down::shifty: I took my "ex" there back in 97. It took ~10 minutes before I heard the "I'm bored, lets go.":dead:

Actually, believe it or not, I've now spent about a month of my life in Chicago over 3 separate visits, and still haven't got to the U-505.

In my case, lack of car, distant location from the museum, a ton of friends with their own plans, and a car crash on the way to finally visit it (seriously) were involved :dead:

4th time's the charm though, I promise!
