rom the realism POW a brown floater mod in the water would look more realistic than this one :haha:
I'm suscribed to your posts and read everything you write. Remember to be kind and think twice how to word what you say, some people are sensitive to certain agressive critizism. And that includes me. :stare:

Honestly, ..............................who cares if it's 100% real? These games aren't 100% real either. If you screw up in the game, you and your crew don't die a watery death.

I think it's a cool effect personally, even if you don't see it with the naked eye all the time. Paying attention to detail in the natural world, it does occur once in a while under the right conditions, but I don't make a habit of looking into the sun. Tends to hurt the eyes.

But the human eye does have a lens in it aside from the cornea, which can both cause a slight "lens flare" effect under the right conditions.

Cool little mod! Thanks for making it!

Realism is not the question now and here, the important thing is that a real effect has been added to the game. Now modders have a chance to add it wherever it is real and accurate - or they simply feel it is nice looking and worth it. That's the really important thing

Realistically speaking it doesn't matter if the naked eye sees a lens flare or not. Looking directly at the sun long enough to find out can cause damage to the eye, and even blindness.

The best effect for the game is like the best anything. The best one is the one that is coolest to you. :sunny:

Realistically speaking this is a very cool mod. :salute:

I've done alot of mods for SH3 that really don't matter to the SH3 Sim.
My Friend TestPilot has done a nice mod that you don't need to use if you don't like it.
Instead of attacking his work? Why don't you create a mod yourself and see how well it flies?
One thing I hate is people that whine about a mod not being 'realistic' when they play a Game that IS NOT REALISTIC!

Use it or don't, that's up to you.
But to attack the intents of a Modder is just so 20 minutes ago!
:har:

Yes, I did download it, and when I get back to port, that is, if I get back to port, I will add it to game.

Thanks Testpilot!
