She was a battlecruiser, but after refit reclassed as battleship, but since original design is battlecruiser i go for her :arrgh!: (to those who dont know it. Its the IJN Kongo) PS. I pick HMS Queen Mary - a beautiful name for a beautiful ship. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X2XpjppqR6I All things considered she was probably the best battlecruiser in the Grand Fleet in 1916, with a heavy armament, great fire control equipment, and better armor than earlier ships. Tragically, the problems with British ammunition handling sealed her fate. Tiger, the Lutzows, Moltkes, and the Invincibles are also close behind in my favorites. |
