Classic! Comedy gold!

So back to my original question. Perry... is he for real? REALLY? I find myself in a state of utter disbelief at the original campaign ad.

Given that Bachmann echoed the very same type of message on the CBS Early Show on Tuesday morning, I'd say that it is very real. Check out what she says about countering Gingrich.

I find myself amazed how these people can superimpose their personal moral stances through a black and white lens to be representative of their statecraft ability in a world that spins in shades of gray.

For me, it's not even that. In the mid-terms, these guys are all about telling us that 'it's the economy, stupid'. Now Cain has bitten the dust and there are two guys that are running pretty far ahead of the rest. Perry and Bachmann are losing on their version of 'it's the economy, stupid', so out come the Bibles. :haha:

Now this video makes more sense than the original one. Surprisingly he is wearing the same jacket as Heather had in Brokeback Mountain. Coincidence?

Well he's a politician, you can't really expect a politician to show any logic. :O:

I'm Rilder and I approve this post.

I could be mistaken, but I think his ad there, has pretty much put opinion against him. At least if the votes on youtube are any indication. I just found this video where he defends his ad, and ramps the stupid up a couple of notch's.

He must be smoking Ganja or something.

soopaman2 12-09-11 04:48 PM

I threw a dislike on it myself.

He is catering to his contituents... Lots of likeminded folks south of the Mason-Dixon line who eat this up. Liberal Yank defending gays again. Pardon me...

I find that ad worse than anything Herman Cain ever did...

Obama by default, at least he isn't a open bigot.

Can't respond on the video either? Yeah, that speaks volumes.

No, people who smoke weed can say some dumb stuff while high but they aren't that moronic, he must be doing meth or something.

What ever happened to "Separation of Church and State" in this Constitution that the Republicans are always thumping on when they aren't thumping their bibles ? I mean, there would be a melt down in the southern states if someone other than a religious person (or need I say... Christian, or Baptist, or some derivation of) got into office.

Oh. And I'd LOVE to see how "Our children can't celebrate Christmas openly." I mean. Look around anywhere this month and tell me what you see !

Ahh, but you see, they aren't celebrating christmas the "right" way! You know, how they'd do things in the United States of Jesustan! That's the right way by God!

Damn that music in the background sure raises it to overwhelmingly silly levels. Monty Python could've written this! :haha:
