Sounds brill to me -- will you be recording new voice tracks with a variety of authentic accents, too? You can probably find all the talent you need here!

Carry on,
Wayne

Yes, Schöneboom, there will be authentic voices, and just for character, maybe a few Scottish, Irish and Welsh thrown in there as well, just for the extra fun of trying to understand the crew... 'Ach Aiy, me matie. lettin' 'em loose to do them Jerries :haha:. Maybe for more entertainment have some Yorkies:06:

Not forgetting the geordie accent I hope...there was a submarine base at Blyth.

Seems interesting.

Sir, you have my attention, thank you. :yep:

Sounds interesting! Are there any good books available that deal with British submarines in WW2? I would like to read up on it a bit to start getting ready for the campaign/mod.

The only one I know of is The T-class submarine: the classic British design, smg13

Wow, with this I think SH3 would never die! :D

Anyway, i've just finished reading this..

Sea Wolves: The Extraordinary Story of Britain's WW2 Submarines

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sea-Wolves-E.../dp/1408702290

It doesn't provide much in they way of technical detail, but does give a fascinating insight into the types of missions they undertook, and the experiences of the crews. Well worth a read!

Good luck with this!

There are a great many if you look on sites such as amazon.

Here's a quick reference link to some online info:

There is already a british campaign mod for SH4. You could contact the authors and get permissions to port lots of stuff to Sh3, would save you a lot of trouble. A voicepack was also underway

U570 12-21-11 06:50 PM

roger wilco, hitman. I've started looking at how to make the campaign layer, and after I did that I found this, which is basically what I've tried and succeeded. 3D work will start after U-Boot HAHD is released, and that should keep almost every SH3 Kaleun occupied long enough for me to work (and use HAHD as well :smug: )

Sounds good! Any chance you could include the Thames class?
