It's just sponge, like as in sponge cake? Or is sponge a British thing too? :hmmm:

I use a sponge to wash my dishes. Am I supposed to eat that too? :O:

I just cannot for the life of me wrap my head around the two completely different textures together. The raisin part, I understand.

Sponge cake= fluffy, light, springy

Pudding= creamy, gooey, substitute for spackle

As for the sponge pudding thing, it's basically of a fruit cake kind of consistency, the pudding comes from the shape of it I think, like an upturned bowl shape.

It takes all kinds. I hate mixed foods. I love peanuts, but I hate them in ice cream or candy.

On the other hand I still sometimes indulge in my old absent-minded habit of chewing on the left-over paper strips after I tear a page out of notebook.

[edit] Actually I like those Jimmy Dean sausage-pancake things. Kind of like a pancake corndog. But chocolate chips? NEVER!

Reminds me of Bimbo bread. :hmmm:

Ha! We had the "bacon" discussion at breakfast break (at work) today.:har:

Bacon flavo(u)red soy does not count.
