They can check me all they want, as long as they don't check the car :O:

To spread a little envy, here is the list of single malts from my favorite Whisky bar, 15 minutes from me: http://www.zauberhaftes-abraxas.de/h...ngle_malt.html
and here's the rare stuff:

Yum, yum!

My Frau did the mistake to invite me to order what I like from the menu, when she celebrated her diploma...

Then again, Germany is closer :hmmm:

Sorry, last order's already over, we have to hand all our money over to the wise Mrs. Merkel to save the Euro, the banks or whatever else

Now now, don't bring politics into a booze thread :03:

sorry man, I'm not on schnaps atm, only drinking an after-work beer - to help me coping with my country's insanity :DL

I just polished off a bottle of an Irish whiskey import called "Tullamore Dew". A little sharp compared to Crown Royal but not bad.

Herr-Berbunch 10-26-11 06:50 PM

I've tried a few, just to be polite mind, and have yet to find a whisk(e)y I like.

Although I've not tried that Midleton's - and at over £100 a bottle I'm not gonna!

I prefer beer and if you talk to Jim or Grant?
Not very good beer in thier opinion.
But for a Whiskey?
I have never had anything I liked better then Maker's Mark.
:yeah:

That is the only Whiskey that could get me to stop drinking cheap beer.
(If it was cheaper!)
:O:

True in the 1970s, perhaps. I have half a dozen or more local breweries within 15 minutes of here. All have stouts, porters, IPAs, etc. Even the lagers aren't bad.
