Restarted the server, let me know if that helps. If not, you may want to try switching to a different email address.

Problem still persists Neal....I used to use my hotmail accounts but they were eventually blocked and since then have used my blueyonder.co.uk address but that's not allowed now?

Any suggestions?

No email notifs here,:nope:

Jimbuna 10-08-11 12:12 PM

Just moved my system into the man cave and set up internet, wireless router etc. and emails test out okay apart from forum email notifications.

Gerald 10-08-11 12:15 PM

Just what I have done too, :yep:

Jimbuna 10-08-11 12:16 PM

Probably you that broke the damn thing!! :DL

Gerald 10-08-11 12:23 PM

Hey, behave yourself now .... I think the error is human and counting...:damn:

Jimbuna 10-08-11 01:08 PM

Well I may have sorted my problem out and it certaily wasn't human...I'll test my adjustment for a few hours incase I'm being overly confident :smug:

Gerald 10-08-11 01:11 PM

Is this a race to solve problems, solution was made light years ago, :know:

Jimbuna 10-08-11 01:17 PM

This is from my netbook so thais and the home system appear to be working now....thankfully.

Are you sorted?

Jimbuna 10-08-11 01:27 PM

@Neal

Looks like I may have sorted the problem because both of my systems are now receiving email notifications.

I'll give it a few hours and PM you with confirmation.

The problem/issue was not the PHP on your server as suggested by Mike the other day.

More details in my PM when I'm convinced.

Regards
Jim

Yes in the desktop computer, which I do not have wireless, to my "heavier applications" to work at high speeds, and it is not wireless great, works in normal posting, but not in gigabytes ... but it is clear ,are ya happy with relatively low speeds and are satisfied, (megabytes), then it's ok, I'll take a closer look at my new HP lap, has not yet been configured, only the new drivers ... I get to see if it deviates.

Jimbuna 10-08-11 02:58 PM

Eh?

Gerald 10-08-11 03:48 PM

I can not at present say what was wrong, my time is limited, then I go away .... soon, but it's sure a solution to everyone's satisfaction.
