I always felt that there is something to be done even at 4000x tc. Even it it is just watching around for reefs or small islands in the navigation map, which only appear when you zoom enough.

Ahh

In the thousands of battles submarines have had with tiny islands, the submarines have never, EVER won.

Java Sea, Borneo area is treacherous with those little buggers and there is one enroute Midway from S. Japan my helmsman always likes to steer for. Wonder if the Dev's did that ...... naw, they wouldn't would they? - lol

At flank speed, I once managed to inadvertently go over one of them right back into the water on the other side. I like to think I was the war's only amphibious fleet boat.
