Yea I wondered why you started a new thread on the rugby when you already have the RWC thread, then I notice the date.

You mean Jim?:haha:

TarJak 09-20-11 12:15 AM

I'll get on that right after you discover that your mob beat the Russians last week.:O:

I'm so tossed on what I should do. Be glad the irish won (because I'm a little more than half irish, and really like that bit of heritage)
or be sad the US lost (because the US is the country I live in...)

YAY!!!:wah:

Me and my friends used to play 7's rugby in the courtyard outside my high school. A lot of football (American football) players joined in and our little group had to be broken up because we were breaking all the schools top football players :D
I have no regrets!

Yes i know what Rugby is. My smart quip is more of a reference as to how little mention it receives here in the US as compared to other sports. From what i've seen, It receives so little attention here, that it begs the sterotypical, ignorant-American question, "What the hell is rugby?" out of jest. And the Irish beating the US at rugby, nevermind that, back the truck up a little....... you mean the US has a rugby team? :har:

If the USA rugby team made it to the semi finals there be more mention of it on your screens. Its course the US team though they have improved from previous Cups are just not that good... yet. The USA needs to join our Test matches we have during the winter NZ, AUS, SA, etc., I think its up to the rugby board though but it would be good to have the USA as part of it just for the sake of rugby and the money they would bring into the game.

Same here with American football I love watching the game but its hardly mention in New Zealand just not popular, yet American football is played here.
