Good. If you're using Commander with GWX3 you need those files.

Still the same error.

EDIT*
Changed the compatibility and ''run as administrator''
And now it works, but it's still skipping some options, like no intro movies and starting out on sea.

Are using Windows Vista or 7 with the game installed in the Program Files directory? The more recent versions of Windows are very protective of anything in Programs or Program Files, I wonder if it would be keeping Commander from making some of the changes necessary to implement your selected options. :hmmm:

Do you have any AV or firewall applications that prevent software from altering other programs memory? If so, try disabling them temporarily and then run a test on Commander.

If it's not that, disable UAC (if you haven't already done so), and then run another test. Last but not least, try running Commander in compatibility mode.

If none of these sort the issue, then I'd be inclined to go with Steve and reinstall outside of the Program Files folder. Good luck! :sunny:

Ouch! :damn:

Sorry for the loss, but it sounds like you've got quite the exotic bug 'cause that shouldn't have happened. I wish there was another way, but about all I can suggest at this point is reinstalling and trying again with a fresh set of files.

Hope you get it sorted soon, 'cause we need you out there! :DL
