Sounds like your graphics chip is simply too slow to play this sort of game. It's an onboard chip.

Oops, the above link points to GMA 3000 info, not GMA 3100. But it comes down to the same limitation, no hardware acceleration.
I doubt reducing the environment size is going to help much. Playability might even suffer severely, as they'll detect you as soon as you can them. It's like your are in dense fog weather all the time. You'll have to be extra carefull to attack at night. I would consider adding a better graphicscard. |
