Unless this is your first day reading GT, you would probably find it obvious that the balance of this forum is right-of-center; at times militantly so. The only thing that this thread shows is the low threshold that the community has for garbage.

Spam, garbage... Always been indistinguishable to me, 'cept that garbage is usually easier on the eyes, not to mention the stomach.

So, I'm athiest. I celebrate Christmas with my family as an opportunity to get together, share some good times, and drink nog, independent of their beliefs. I guess this makes me a bad person.

I've been here for a bit and I tend to see it as pretty centrist all around. There are more members who lean right but when it comes to actual controversy, you tend to get a far more relentless attack from those on the left. In fact, just looking over the last couple of months, "militantly so" seems to apply far more to leftist opinions than any other.

Either way, it's not obvious. But I will stipulate that the original post was clearly a failed attempt at humor.

What do conservatives do on 4th of July:

-wake up and pray
-pledge allegiance
-polish their gun (their shooting gun, the gun they were born with has whitered and died)
-read the news and rant about the liberal pussy euro trash and the asians buying everything.
-plant american flags on every square foot of their lawn
-read the bible while they wait for the meat to grill
-rant some more
-aim the fireworks at the house of a young liberal fammily that has ONLY ONE flag planted infront of the house
-plan an invasion of Slovenia cause one Slovenian dared to make fun of them (but cant find it on the map, wait, Slovakia, proabibly the same)
-pray and sleep
