I must be one of the few on this planet who don't require best available quality to enjoy a movie. :hmmm:

@Dowly - but your 'usual' kind of movie has predominantly been of poor/grainy quality.

And with a '70s bom-chicka-wow-wow soundtrack! :har:

Aaactually, most if not all of today's (and yesterday's) visual media has been
perfected and made popular by the adult industry.

Smartypants. :O:

I see no difference in blueray over the standard DVD. Well, one difference is the cost and that cost is not justified in my mind specifically side by side both look the same in quality.

I would agree. Plus the fact that I don't want to replace all the DVD players in my house and I can't play Blueray on my computer (where is where I watch the vast majority of my movies and all my submarine movies.

If you watch an older quality film on a 50" LCD wide screen it looks like crap, I'm amazed at the quality of DVD's even, one will look close to Blu-Ray and another will look like total crap, I am waiting for The Haunting (Owen Wilson) to be released on Blu-Ray, the DVD version is about the same quality as a VHS tape and on the large wide screen is unwatchable imo!!:damn:
