I've been a GWX guy, so I'll not dare to take a stand against anyone actually - what I'd like to say goes well beyond the

Honest i still not get it... so if i am going now in the SH4 forum (i am not mean that i have something against SH4- it is just an example)... and i will open a post.. please SH4 moders.. when you release mods be sure that you not steal something from SH3... or if you take something give credits... and anyway i will keep an eye on you guys... @ Alex and JU 88 ... what do you think... they will be happy and they will thank me that i was so polite and tryied to remember them how they should behave in society... and maybe they will invite me to drink a beer with them?... i do not think so.. so i perfect agree with Trevally... if you see something that you can prove that a moder from here stoled from SH3 or SH4 or from another moder then just tell us pls... but to writte things in the manner like you guys did.... honestly this is only to provoc people... i am very sory... i have a big respect for GWX team... but this is to weird and a lot far from logical things.. i was never belived that you guys can spoke things like these... btw.. read careful marleymen post.. maybe this time you will understan what he meant: '' PS.

Sorry, but this is all just crap..... This divide between the forums has been around for awhile now. It's nothing new and it certainly did not start in the last few days like some seem to think. But it was all brought to the forefront when a respected member took a **** on 5 modders a few days ago. What was written last night was disgusting to read, be it written in a drunken state or not, I do think true colors were shown... As for the guys coming out of the woodwork and showing up on the 5 forums to remind us how to give credit, they are simply jealous of the progress we have made here and are missing the spotlight they had a few years ago.... Respect can be lost as fast as it is gained......

Speaking only for myself Alex, here is my story:

I started with SH3 loved what GWX team did for the game, so I in turn had a lot of respect for you guys.... Now things have changed. You don't see me or any 5 players or modders going in to the SH3 forums and accuse people of stealing, call them names, and belittle the work of others, this is your team doing that on this forum.... You guys have done little or nothing for 5, you guys gave up and only show up here when issues like this arise to remind us to give you credit and try and act the holier than thou bit. The respect I had for you guys has been lost, just as quick as it was gained. And you will not get the it back anytime soon with your comments, documents and general bs. You get my respect for modding and/or being a productive member of this community....

The point is my post was only aimed at those who take and dont give credits, are you one of those people?

If not then you can safely ignore everything Ive said.
If yes then do think its unreasonable to give credit where its due?

Its something that has been in practice on subsim years before the GWX saga before you and I even registered here, it just a case of having good manners and practice.

Maybe 'stealing' is a bit stong since all mods are free anyway- but it certainly is disrespectful.
how hard is it to write a subsim user name in notepad? because that is all the effort it bloody well takes.

Did some one say this is out of 'jealousy?' From what I remember thats exactly how many of the GWX team felt when they were leading the charge modding SH3, some 5 years ago.... many of the GWX haters were supected as being jealous.
Could it be you are falling in to the same trap now that you guys are pioneers of modding this game? quite possibly, it can happen to anyone.

Trust me Im happy for what you guys have done so far and are doing but I wouldn't wanna trade places with you, its hard work and very time consuming (which brings us back to why we should credit each other). I was there once before and I have no wish to go back.

Not sure why you are here posting any of this, that is my problem I guess. You assumed 5 modders would steal 3 and 4 work and decided to preach your silly rules and regulations from a lost time...... Lol... my nick is stoianm... no... i do not have problems with giving credits... i personal... i do not care about credits... and i do not have the impresion that i invented the wheel or the warm water... i am not a moder.. i am a mod twiker... so i am happy to give credits all the people that i was inspired from their work or i used their work... watch my env mod and you will easy see on the credits... i did not spoked about the jalous here... i just not liked how you spoked... i like to help people... i spend manny hours to help people and i will spend in the future also.. and this is not because i want credits... just because make me feel better when i help people fix their problems

And the modding part i spend time on it because i like this game and i want to help to improuve at maximum.. for instance were very nice that you have teach me things from your experience... and maybe with your help to improuve old things... that were much better than we argue for nothing... as zedi said we not make money from this... we are doing this from pasion

Well ive already explained it crystal clear and im not going to bore you or myself with it again.
I assumed nothing about 5 modders. and it not silly rules and regulations, since no one is or can enforce anything anyway, its just common courtesy and manners.
But yeah I agree I think we've think we've all made our selves clear.
