That's sweet. I've never seen that piece, which is surprising. It is just the kind of thing you'd think would be on the Discovery or History channels.
Especially with Peter Coyote narrating.

And while the conclusions are supposition, it is pretty much extrapolated from the same facts I studied. The nature of the exercise, the Pope case, North fleet actions directly after the sinking, etc.

The clincher for me was discovering the sonar data a couple years after the incident.
