Time, yes, it sounded a bit sarcastic it there, but if the movie is good then I take the time needed ... The only downside is that there will be less honest posts here, a double-edged problem, :yep:

The movie is actually quite good. Solid acting. As Jim said, Firth deserves the international recognition.

But help me out here! I've got two DVD's here, and I can't decide which one to watch (seen them both already, but still can't decide) so I leave it up to you: what movie am I going to watch:

Wag the dog or Frost / Nixon?

(I'm kinda in a political mood I guess :DL)

Just watched it last week, and I agree. A great film.

Take, the dog...

Okay, I'm pressing play right now. They're both great, but Wag the Dog touches on some current affairs (if you're inclined to believe all the new conspiracy theories ;)) so I guess that'll be a good choice now. Thanks for deciding for me Vendor :DL

I suppose you didn't watch the Oscars then?:hmmm:

I think the last Academy Awards show I watched was 1970.

It won Best Picture and I think some of the acting awards.

:)
Cool. It deserves recognition. :sunny:

Have you had to make a speech in front of thousands of people, or on the radio knowing that millions were hanging on your every word? I sympathize with your plight, but if you haven't seen this you need to.

[edit] Another cool connection along those lines: The Archbishop is nicely played by Derek Jacobi, who 30+ years ago did his own share of stuttering (and limping and twitching) in I, Claudius.
