Can it be dust the problem?

Could be .. but sounds a bit far-fetched unless it has clogged the cooling element in the amplifier, I had on my Nad amp, a problem, and I blew out the system by playing loud about 150 watts, the amp is 300 watts and it helped in fact if the neighbor who lives 700 yards away was not so happy to hear RnB music .. so close in to ;)

mine problem started suddently.
when I first started playing music with it it was all fine then the next day it just broke down

Do you have any instruments that can help you, to see that it goes over power to the unit, you've indicated that this came suddenly and there is reason to believe that it is possible to remedy the situation, darkfish is working of course with electronics, among other things, what is his reaction to this now.....:hmmm:

Send em to Vendor...he's a real expert...he'll 'fix em' one way or another :O:

Hehe, it's not that I'm some kind of wizard with electronics or something:O: I think someone like Privateer who's got experience with sound systems is much more helpful here.

I'd say check for loose connections inside the thing. (remember, slightly touching is often the same as loose) Sometimes a good ole smack can help as well. If it doesn't, well, what's broke already can't break again, can it?:hmmm:
If you can find none, as Vendor says, do you have any instruments at your disposal? An oscilloscope would be a huge help to determine where it goes wrong.

I opened it up and ...... no loose contacts, no dust everything was fine
and now neither the left speaker is playing.

What happens when you turn on and off, and how many other devices are connected to your amp, :hmmm:

playing for a couple of seconds-minutes and then stop.
Only my mp3 player is connected to it.

convoy hunter 05-02-11 11:51 AM

could it be the mp3 connection to the amplifier?

Hard to say, but I guess you have a converted input to the amplifier, try to pull it out, and if you have anything else running it instead...

could be, but not likely. The fact that it works normally for the first few minutes makes me think it's got something to do with heating.

Are you absolutely positive it isn't a loose connection? loose connections don't have to look like a loose connection, quite often they actually do make contact (at least with bare eyes it seems like it). Also, "wire" doesn't necessarily have to mean a wire in the traditional sense of the word. It can also mean any other conducting connection between components.
