I agree with this although my experience of SH4 is very limited to date, spend far too much time on SH3 :D

If you want to play an improved SH5 it seems from reading the SH5 forum that you will have to spend a fair amount of time installing mods and then editing files yourself as TDW has yet to get his "magnum opus" megamod fully tested out as working - but damn are they working hard to fix all the known issues and add new/more realistic features! :salute:

Cool! Its a shame customers are the ones that need to do the devs work... and I'm glad such persons devote their personal time to achieve such feat.

Respect!

I hope they also change the torps explosions... I don't get why they look so... dull... when compared to previous versions of SH. I mean they worked hard on graphics and eye candy and yet they nerfed the torp's detonation animation...

I'll not tell you my preference for fear of being accused of biaisness :DL

Try all three, go to the mods section of the forum for each and then you'll be in a better position to make an informed choice.

What's most important is enjoying yourself in/during the process.

Good Luck

No please, I'm curious of the 3 which one do you prefer? And which mods do you prefer... please... pretty please :)

Exactly what I thought. Thank you!

Ah, I completely forgot about SH3 resolution limitation. Will I be able to run the game 1920x1200 and in Windows 7 x64 bit?

Hitman 04-29-11 03:02 PM

That's still a bit of Achilles heel in Sh3. You can use both a hi-res kit that enables higher res but with stretched screen, or a mod that allows true widescreen support, albeit only with 1366x768.

Do a search in the mods forum, it's all there

if it is any help, I run SH3 GWX on 64 bit Windows Seven with resolution 1680x1050. Works fine.

I have all three games, but SH3 remains my favourite. However, I am an eternal beginner, so my opinion is not worth much :)
