I hope that the 2012 movie won't suck but I fear it will. :nope:

I was glad to see the SA-43 Hammerhead made the list.

But no ISSCV/ISSAPC?

Sorry, never heard of that show. I must have missed it in 95-96. What network was it on?

I was tickled to see the Swine Trek in there. I got about half of them.

Some good looking ships, but not all that aerodynamic...

I guess they're mostly designed for show and no real go... :D

Aerodynamics are irrelevant in the vacuum of space, so you can get some funky form follows function shapes. The ungainly looking Apollo Lunar Excursion Module is a good example.

I was mostly thinking blastoff and re-entry...

Hard to imagine the amount of thrust you'd need to overcome all that extra drag! :88)

Most real life space craft have a aerodynamic shroud that protects them on launch. After they leave the atmosphere the shroud is jettisoned.

The everlasting Soyuz operates with that design...

The millenium falcon is a good ship something I would own if I was a starman from the future.

Also the Mothership from PC game Homeworld is a good one

See the mothership around 2.52 Though watch the whole Homeworld intro amazing stuff. When I first played Homeworld I had goosebumps during the intro, made you feel like you were part of this lost civilization and was on a journey to save mankind! But then come mission 5 I could not beat the waves of enemies millions died because of me. :wah:

Glad to see the Gunstar from The Last Star Fighter on the list. What a great movie that was. <two thumbs up!>
