Das ist blodisch, wirklich. I mean c'mon, there is no sense of humor left in Germany? I visit almost every month Austria and there is no such a problem.. and hey, is where Hitler was born. Actually, they have a very good sense of humor and there it was the first time where I heard this expression.. was the title of a wild public party in Graz.

Anyway, I will make another version tomorrow with a clean gramophone.

For me personally (and Ruby too) is not a problem ! What I mean with "Problem" is, Ruby asked you for permission that he wants to include your MOD in his "Deutsch-MOD" and release this as an Official-MOD in german-ubi-Forum. And in this german forum and german law we have certain rules and maybe this could be problem !

This is that what I mean with "problem" !

Best regards,
Magic

Hi zedi,

thank you very much!

Magic has right. It could be a problem with the official "Deutsch-Mod".

Best regards

Ruby

I know what Ruby said, Im half german. I agree that there is a problem with the nazi emblems or propaganda, I also dont really like to have the swastika on the board of my boat.. but there should be a limit. Is not possible that every word or gesture is immediately linked to the nazi regim.. that makes the actual political regime worst that the nazi one.

Anyway, I dont wanna go offtopic with this, I will work out a clean version tomorrow and also split the mod, so it will be possible to load only the gramophone or radio.

good idea removing it, i dont like it ...meant as some kind of humor or not, the first idea i get with "Musik macht frei" is Auschwitz !

things happened there and other concentration camps have nothing to do with humor :shifty:

...by the way "Deutsche Rundfunk" the "r" is missing (Deutscher Rundfunk) ;)

furchtbar! building the phrase "music makes you free" from the deathcamp entrance sentence "work makes you free" is quite crude! i have no problem in using historical correct emblems and insignia, i am deeply interested in the kriegsmarine history and i am proud to have german roots. BUT this is not funny...its respectless and distasteful. things which are directly connected to the murder on jews are not a thing to make fun of, dude.

its a sign of respect not touching such things.

by the way: "deutsche rundfunk" is spelled wrong. its "deutscher rundfunk".

Correct meaning would be "music sets you free". But because a mad politician used "sets you free" already, this phrase must be deleted forever from the vocabulary. At least in Germany. Hope that Deutscher Rundfunk will not be banned just because its a play from Dj Himmler.

Updated the first post, had split the mod in 2 so the gramophone and radio can be installed separately. Also corrected some minor bugs I found in the meantime.

Music sets you free :D

Hi Zedi,

with "Deutscher Rundfunk" we have no problems :)

Thank you for the change!

I will include now your radio and Grammophone Mod in my Deutsch-Mod. Can I do this?

Best regards

Ruby

Hi!

Sorry, for my stupid question, but how I can see the gramophone and radio? I go to radio-room, and not found its.
I set in the command.cfg the gramophone toggle and other keys, and the gramophone working by keyboard, but don't see the visual components of mod.

You need a UI mod to have them enabled as you are wanting
