Anywhere but California and New Jersey! |
I'd also have to go with Hawaii. Either that or Alaska. Tropical paradise or majestic winter landscape; hard to choose.

:har:
Jersey..not thanks...but.....my uncle lives in Hacketstown NJ. Nice bit of country. If you can get away and west of the the 95 corridor running through NJ things are very nice. A lot of country side. |
Why I'd think twice about TX:

I kinda liked the eight years I spent in Omaha Nebraska.
The weather is a bit rough but the people are nice. Between Omaha and Lincoln you have two cities big enough to get into trouble, but at the same time a 2 hour drive later and you are the only person on the earth. Cost of living is pretty low too. I would not object if I could get a job (or even retire) near, but not in, Omaha. :yep: |
California...as it was 40 years ago, when I did live there.
No real choice. There are a lot of places I wouldn't mind living, but lacking a good incentive Utah's fine for now. |
I enjoyed my three years in Utah also. Nice state, nice people.
|
Florida. I never want to leave. Love the weather. Hurricanes I can deal with.
P.S.: I'm a Hurricane Andrew survivor even though I was not a resident of FL at the time...worst vacation timing ever. |
Nevada but only if we can get all the Californians to move back to California.
They screwed up that state now come here to screw up mine. :damn: No state income tax here. :woot: Magic |
I love NC, can drive to the mountains or the beach in about 4 hours from mid state. Weather OK, cept for all the tornadoes.
Only issue is illegals are big here, taken over most our small towns. |
Canada, the 51st state:D
